Books, Bites, and Booze Update
Have you finished Molly Wizenberg’s A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table? Guess what? I haven’t. I ordered the paperback and it came at the same time as this book about fleeing a polygamist Mormon enclave, so, you know, I had to finish that first. But I am in the middle of A Homemade Life, and I’d love it if you’d come hang out and talk about the book, or just food in general, on Wednesday, April 14th, at 7PM at Newstead Tower Pub. They’ve got great food and beer. If you come, you also get to suggest books for our next meeting.
Don’t be intimidated if you’ve never come to a meetup of folks from the interwebs. I’m friendly! And beer makes everyone friendly unless you are a mean drunk, in which case, slow your roll on the Fat Tire, mmmkay?
If you think you’re going to come, please RSVP in the comments.
Finished it, liked it – loved the berry pound cake recipe.
I’ll be there. I’ll be the nervous looking one, clutching a book and a beer, trying to look kind of confident.
I will be there.
I’m in. 🙂
I wish I had known about this meeting! Just discovered the FBM, and I tore through A Homemade Life the day I got it. Love Molly Wizenberg.
